This vein treatment involves injection of Polidoconol foam 1% into a malfunctioning Great Saphenous Vein, accessory saphenous veins and visible varicosities of the great saphenous system.This procedure is done in the office using ultrasound guidance. A small catheter is inserted into the vein causing the vein to collapse. Blood is re-routed to the healthier veins. The foam is deactivated afterwards.
